Our Brazilian Santos hails from the Estate Brazils in Brazil’s beautiful Cerrado region. Cerrado, which means hilly in Spanish, is a tropical savannah with many old growth forests perfect for growing Arabica coffee. Our Brazilian Santos is a shade-grown bourbon that is dry-processed to give the beans natural sweetness ample time to mature before roasting. We recommend roasting these beans to a medium shade to extenuate the beans naturally velvet mouthfeel, balance, and nutty molasses-like base notes. These beans also work great in blends! This low acidity brew wonderfully represents of Brazil’s best!
